To Reach Sawrey Knotts via the Ferry, travel from the lake for 3/4 mile; our entrance can be found on the right hand side at the top of the hill. (The ferry crosses the lake every twenty minutes from 7 a.m. to 9.50 p.m.; or 8.50 p.m. out of season.)

Approaching from the West of Lake Windermere

If you are approaching from Ambleside/Hawkshead or Newby Bridge/Graythwaite, travel through Far Sawrey village towards the lake and we are 200 yds past the Sawrey Hotel, on the left.
